Seven voices carry a German accent, and six of them are here. Markus, Max and Ben are male, Petra, Hanna and Lea female. All sit in the European language family, which covers thirteen languages in total.

VOICES FOR THIS USE CASE
A small, complete set
Seven voices carry the German tag, so this page shows almost the entire group rather than a selection. Casting is a matter of which one fits, not of searching a large pool. All six span the usual working registers: narration, education, customer support, insurance and advertising.
What the API does and does not control
Speed adjusts from 0.5 to 2.0 and is the only delivery control. There is no pitch, tone or emotion parameter, so regional variation within German is a casting decision rather than a setting. Compound nouns and long sentences read more clearly slightly below 1.0.
Setting the language
Pass language as de. These voices belong to the European family, which also accepts Dutch, English, French, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Swedish. German is what the catalog vouches for on these voices; the rest are technically possible but untested.
Working with a small pool
At seven voices, producing at volume means the same voice recurring across your material. Whether that helps or hurts depends on the brand. Where a specific German voice is essential and none of the seven fit, cloning reproduces a particular speaker with their consent.
