Trailer narration is the most compressed writing in film advertising: eight or nine lines carrying an entire premise. These six are drawn from the narration pool, chosen for weight and an unhurried delivery.

Trailer reads are written, not performed
The genre runs on short declarative lines with long gaps between them. Weight comes from the pause as much as the voice, which is why trailer copy looks sparse on the page. Casting matters less here than most people expect; pacing and the script carry it.
Cutting against picture
Requests cap at 250 characters, which is roughly one trailer line. Generating line by line rather than as a block means a retime costs one regeneration rather than a full re-render. For a format that gets recut repeatedly before lock, that changes how late you can keep changing the copy.
Pace is the whole instrument
Speed adjusts from 0.5 to 2.0, and trailer reads usually sit near 0.85. That is the only delivery control, since there is no pitch or emotion parameter. Slowing a line gives the cut room to land, which is the effect the genre is built on.
What the catalog does not do
There is no pitch shifting and no effects layer, so the heavily processed trailer voice of the 1990s is not reachable here. What is available is 163 narration-tagged voices with genuine weight, delivered clean for you to process in the edit if that is the sound you want.
